Collector’s Choice fund-raiser Oct. 30ANNAPOLIS — Art lovers can start or expand their art collections at the Maryland Federation of Art’s Collector’s Choice fund raising event on Oct. 30 at Annapolis Subaru, 149 Old Solomons Island Road. Sponsored by Annapolis Subaru and benefiting the MFA, the event will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with a fine art drawing beginning at 6 p.m.The 29th annual Collector’s Choice features a lottery of original works of art donated by MFA artists. Valued from $200 to more than $2,000, the works include oil paintings, etchings, watercolors, photography, sculpture, clay and glass works, wood turnings and fiber arts.Each ticket to the event entitles the ticket holder and one guest to select one artwork when their ticket number is drawn, with those whose numbers are drawn first having the widest selection of art.The art also will be on exhibit in the MFA Circle Gallery, 18 State Circle, the week prior to the event.
