Appalachian is 6-2 in conference and 13-7 overall, while Georgia Southern is 7-2 in the SoCon and 14-7 overall. The Mountaineers come into the match tied for third place with Chattanooga. Both of the Mountaineers and Eagles’ losses in conference play came to the College of Charleston and Chattanooga.
