YORK WINS IN FIELD HOCKEY: The York College field hockey team posted a late goal as they defeated Wilson College 1-0 in a non-conference field hockey contest yesterday afternoon in Chambersburg. The Spartans improve to 8-6 overall while the Phoenix fall to 5-3. The game winning goal came with just 1:45 remaining in regulation as freshman standout April McFarland, an Eastern High graduate, picked up her seventh goal of the year off a pass from Rachel Alderfer. enior goalie Meg Eckenrode recorded her fifth shutout of the season as she made three saves.
