"There's a growing need for increased patient care space in the community, and we're not the only medical center recognizing this," said Kevin Lavoie, spokesman for Kettering Medical Center Network. The hospital is expanding the Kettering College of Medical Arts and building the Boonshoft Center for Medical Sciences on the campus. It's the first major expansion since it added patient beds in the early 1990s.
