Tim Dancey led the Purple Knights with two goals and an assist. Jared Silver collected three assists.Dancey gave SMC a 1-0 lead only 1:02 into the season but Zanetti and Lewis responded for Stonehill by the 10:10 mark of the first. Andrick Deppmeyer tied the game for the Knights before the end of the first but Stonehill moved back ahead on Lewis' power-play goal.
