John Jones is chief executive and president of St. Bernard Software, a provider of security software and services for small-and medium-size businesses against data loss, system threats, Internet abuse and unsolicited e-mail. Jones' career spans more than 25 years in engineering, product management, business management and as an executive officer with a number of high-tech companies. He previously served as CEO and president of Emerald Systems; president of Irwin Magnetics; president of ComputerX, a Motorola subsidiary; executive vice president of Gould Inc.; and in several management positions with IBM. He has a bachelor-of-science degree in mechanical engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology.
