Columbia snags old Spertus headquarters - Chicago Journal
With ever-expanding Columbia College Chicago surrounding Spertus’ one-building campus, the news this week that Columbia will be snapping up another South Loop property should come as no surprise. Alicia Berg, vice president of Campus Environment for Columbia College, confirmed Tuesday that Columbia’s Board of Directors has approved the purchase of the old Spertus building, 610 S. Michigan. Berg added that the sale has not been finalized as of yet, and the price is still under negotiation.
