NKU Plays Preseason Games Across the RiverHIGHLAND HEIGHTS - Northern Kentucky University's men's basketball team will play pre-season exhibition games against local NCAA Division I bullies Xavier University and University of Cincinnati.The Norse take on Xavier Saturday, Nov. 5 in the Cintas Center. NKU and Xavier have not played since the 1978-79 season, when the Norse stunned the Musketeers, 63-61, in overtime. This will be the first time the two schools have met in an exhibition game.
