Join Floyd Little and The Orange For Saturday's Quad Walk Floyd Little will march with the 2005 Orange this Saturday during the Quad Walk. Game Notes SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Join Syracuse legend Floyd Little and the 2005 Orange at the Quad Walk on Saturday, Oct. 15, before SU hosts Rutgers in the Dome at noon. The walk begins at College Place at 9:30 a.m. and ends at the Carrier Dome. Little joins SU on the walk as a part of Legends Day at the Dome. Tickets are available online (click here) or at the Carrier Dome Box Office (1-888-DOMETIX). Little is one of eleven athletes to wear the famed 44 jersey while playing at Syracuse. An All-America selection in 1964, 1965 and 1966, Little holds the SU records for career touchdowns (46) and career punts returned for a touchdown (five). In 1964, he took the Orange to the national stage as a sophomore in a season that culminated with the Sugar Bowl. He led the nation in all-purpose yardage in 1965, averaging 199 yards per game. Little closed his Syracuse career in 1966 with an appearance in the Gator Bowl and earning the 1966 ECAC Player of the Year Award. - more available
