The Artwell Gallery at 19 Water St., Torrington, has established The Digital Learning Center, in partnership with local schools and the community, to provide digital arts education to people of all ages in northwestern Connecticut.Susan L. Berg, an assistant professor in graphic design at Northwestern Connecticut Community College in Winsted, is the executive director of the new center.Equipment for the center was donated by Northwestern, Tunxis and Manchester community colleges.
