Detour 180, Calls From Home in concert Sunday - Paris News
The Fighting for You Tour comes to Paris on Sunday for a free concert at Love Civic Center. Christian bands scheduled to perform include Detour 180 and Calls from Home. Doors to Love Civic Center open at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Promoted by Paris-based The Jesus Ride Inc., the show is sponsored by Cici's Pizza and Today's Cuts & Ultra Tan. Detour 180 is a New Zealand band that is described as "loud, hooky rock with soul." The band has spent the last two years touring the U.S. Canada, Australia and New Zealand. "We don't do music for music's sake; it's got purpose and we want to use it that way," says lead singer Adrian Robertson. "Who we are and what we play is all about music moving people, invading thought processes. If we do that, we're achieving what we set out to do."
